For one year in between my studies, I have been part of the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team of 2024. During this year, 23 students set aside their studies, and focused full time on innovating the maritime sector, by building a hydrogen-powered foiling boat that was the first ever to cross the North Sea.
Over the year, I had many responsibilities within the team. My main areas of expertise were the Design of the Wrap of the Boat, Graphic Design, Videography and Merchandise.
I have been working on several concepts for the Wrap. Looking into different styles that could best portray the image of the goal of that year. Many ideas have passed the drawing board, but one stood out every time.
We presented our boat at different points of the journey, to a wide audience of family and friends, industry experts and innovative maritime companies.
