In this design project, the problem is as follows: how can you improve the reintegration of ex-prisoners into the society. These people find it hard to improve their lives after they get out of prison, because they tend to fall back in their old habits.
In collaboration with the case company Reclassering Nederland, we came up with a service system where ex-prisoners get full potential to reintegrate in society.
The service system can be seen below. In main lines, the system provides a connection between ex-prisoners and citizens of the Netherlands to connect through an app. In this app, both parties can talk to eachother using a chat functie, and they can also set up a meeting to go for a walk, get a coffee or do some chores.
This way, the ex-prisoners gets in touch with people from the society, providing them with another lifestyle to improve their old habits.
